We’re looking for experienced Compositors to join us.
Elephant Goldfish is a Dublin-based post and VFX studio working across film and high-end TV. We’re a new studio, led by people who’ve done this a long time and as part of the Molinare Creative Group, it means we have a base in both Ireland and the UK.
In our first year we’ve delivered a couple of features for Blumhouse, including Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, a period drama series (Hardacres) and Charli XCX’s The Moment. Right now we’re on a streamer series, a range of features, and another drama series with one of the world’s foremost production companies.
You’d be hands-on across all of it, taking shots and sequences from plate to final, whether it’s invisible clean-up, set extensions, CG integration, environments, or complex compositing work, we’re interested in effects that feel effortless on screen. You’ll work closely with our supervisors, other artists, and production team to deliver high-quality compositing We’re looking for someone who enjoys collaborating, takes pride in the details, and is always looking for the best solution to a shot.
And you’d be joining at a genuinely interesting moment. Ireland’s VFX and post scene is at a real inflection point, and we’re building carefully into it, growing the pipeline, broadening the slate, taking on bigger creative challenges. Be part of this team now and you’ll grow with it. And we’ve built a beautiful, friendly working space in our docklands studio.
We’re looking for someone who:
- has solid experience compositing on feature films or high-end television with an eye for what makes a shot real
- can take a shot or sequence from start to finish: fast, reliable, and happy to juggle several at once
- is steady when things get tight and easy to work with at all times
- uses AI and ML tools where they earn their place, with a healthy curiosity and creative interest in the space
- takes direction confidently while using initiative and good creative instinct to solve problems independently.
- brings good energy to a team, the people around you like working with you
This role offers flexible working and can be remote, hybrid, or based in our Dublin studio. Applicants must already have the right to work in Ireland or the UK, and we’re always glad to hear from our friends in the EU. A willingness to be here counts for a lot so do let us know if you might consider relocating to Ireland.
We’d love to hear from artists at a range of experience levels, from strong mid-weight comp artists to seasoned seniors. If this sounds like your kind of work, we’d love to see your reel. Send it, along with a few words about yourself. We we will look at every eligible application. We can’t always reply to each, and it may take a little time, so please don’t take silence as a no.
Looking forward to speaking with you!
